Zombie Invasion

I would wake up.

Or kill that necromancer called fralf, since he has a high enough dark magic level to resurrect a year old topic, he might be the one causing the zombies in the first place.

Equipment Triggered Skills

I know, I'm just pointing out that there's a similar thing to this built into the engine, that could be used to nearly the same effect with weapons.

What games were released in 2008 [HELP FILL IN THE BLANKS]?

Tales of the Fallen Reaper 1: A Grim Tale Rushed RS! Day Demo
Over the Pacific-1944 Full Game

What kind of weapon would you use?

Loophole: I would use that good old blunt weapon called a battering ram, preferably one of the more high-tech ones with the specially crafted fire/arrow proof hide armor, with a frame that goes back far enough so that you don‘t have to get out from under it to pull the ram back. Yup, as long as they don't throw rocks at the other people manning it and me, or cut their way inside and kill us, I'm just going to stay here knocking down gates.

I do have quite a collection of daggers, a few swords, and even a flail though.

What are you thinking about right now?

It's not game over for me!

Honest Challenge, and Positive Reinforcement

Actually, we usually use the following difficulty levels, with rewards adjusted/separate high scores/etc. as needed.

| Easy | Normal | Hard | Holy Crap This Is Impossible |

I believe in having some choice of difficulty to adjust to the player's needs, but I do not believe and would never make a game like this:
author=Max McGee link=topic=3052.msg59786#msg59786 date=1233430889
What you're saying is, in other words, make candy-ass games where it's impossible to die because you're too much of a pussy to kill the player due to fear that they'll stop playing.

Equipment Triggered Skills

You do realize that there's a way to do nearly the exact same thing without a large parallel process that's built into the engine?

If you have a skill that has a weapon type attribute checked, then that skill can only be used when a weapon that has that weapon type attribute as one of its attributes is equipped, so you could have a weapon attribute for each type of weapon/or each weapon and a skill or two for each. If you don't have the necessary weapon equipped, the skill will simply be grayed out. Of course though, for this method you have to have the skill already learned, and there won't be a message saying that you can use that skill when the weapon is equipped. Still though, this way you don't need a huge parallel process that checks every character for every weapon, and you don't need a switch for every character's equippable weapons.

[Fixed] A Little Birdy Messed Up Single Quotes

I'm guessing that this happened during the update to the bbcode for the articles and game pages. Single 'quotes' in articles (This One of Mine, For Example in Which ' ' is Necessary), not sure about games, are now replaced with ???.
